Approaching Relationships.

I think the best relationships are created when two people go into it as friends. There is a fine line between friendships with the intention of solely being friends and friendships that are intended to lead to something more. I guess it’s not really a “friendship,” it’s more so using a friendship approach to relationships.

What I mean is, intimacy can be involved if needed, but it shouldn’t be prioritized. It should be more about getting to know each other in order to build a strong bond. Sometimes adding in too many emotions at an early stage can be a distraction from getting to know each other on a deeper level. And may instead lead to only becoming infatuated with characteristics about each other that although may be great, are also easily replaceable. So when things get tough (which is only natural), and you’re both in a position where you are reflecting on the reasons you like one another, hopefully these reasons will make it worth staying together.
